Anchorage Counselling provides professional, confidential counselling to support, encourage and empower clients through challenging circumstances.

Video and phone appointments are also available for those unable to attend face to face appointments.

Connecting with others in a caring, compassionate and supportive way that conveys a non-judgmental respect for each individual is highly valued by your counsellor in order to support people where they are at, encouraging individuals to explore within themselves life-empowering resources and strengths.
Qualifications
Your counsellor, Janet Burford, holds Master of Counselling Practice and Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling) qualifications, is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and registered with the Australian Register for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (ARCAP). Janet is committed to continuing professional and personal development.. Neuropsychotherapy trained, Janet includes an informed understanding of the link between neurobiological wiring and mental health.
