Anchorage Counselling offers professional and confidential counselling services using counselling approaches to work holistically with the issues presented so that you, the client, can have multi-faceted support. Spirituality is incorporated in counselling where it is important to you.
Connecting with others in a caring, empathetic and supportive way that conveys a non-judgmental respect for each individual is critical for best care. Our goal is to support people where they are at, encouraging individuals to explore within themselves life-empowering resources and strengths.
Your counsellor, Janet Burford, holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling) and completing Master of Counselling Practice qualifications, is PACFA registered and is committed to professional and personal development.. Neuropsychotherapy trained, Janet includes an informed understanding of the link between biological wiring and mental health. She is also a member of the Association for Contextual Behaviourial Science (ACBS).
